Is REAPS PPRA compliant?

Yes. REAPS is built around PPRA-aligned workflows. Practitioner FFC numbers and expiry dates are first-class fields, mandate types and disclosures are tracked against every listing, and audit trails meet the record-keeping standards the PPRA expects during compliance reviews.

Does REAPS support FICA verification?

Yes. KYC documents are captured against every Person and Legal Entity record. The system flags missing or expired verification before a deal can progress, supports cash threshold reporting against the FIC schema, and produces the audit trail your RMCP requires.

Can I import contacts from Lightstone, PropData, or my existing spreadsheets?

Yes. REAPS supports CSV import for contacts, properties, and listings, and includes data connectors for the major SA property data providers. You can also connect your existing Property24 or Private Property listings during onboarding.

Does REAPS work offline in the field?

Yes. The mobile app is offline-first: practitioners can capture notes, photos, and updates during viewings without connectivity, and the app syncs in the background once the device is back online. Critical for on-the-road work in areas with patchy signal.

How does REAPS handle multi-branch agencies?

REAPS is multi-tenant by design. Each agency has its own isolated workspace; within that, you can model branches, teams, and practitioners with the right access controls. Branch managers see their region; principals see the full picture; practitioners see only what they need.

What about WhatsApp? Can I message clients from REAPS?

Yes. WhatsApp Business is integrated as a first-class communication channel. Conversations are tracked against the relevant contact and deal, so you keep a full history without leaving REAPS or losing context when a practitioner moves on.

How are commissions calculated and split?

Every Deal captures the gross commission, the agreed split between agency, listing practitioner, selling practitioner, and any referrer. On registration, REAPS produces a commission statement showing what each party earns, what VAT is due, and the net payout per practitioner.

Is my agency data safe? Where is it stored?

Your data is hosted on Supabase and AWS infrastructure, with encryption at rest and in transit, daily backups, and POPIA-aligned data handling. You can export your full dataset at any time; there is no vendor lock-in.

Will REAPS integrate with the property portals I already use?

+

Yes. Integrations with Property24, Private Property, and other SA portals let you syndicate listings from one place rather than re-entering data per portal. Lead inquiries flow back into REAPS automatically.

When will REAPS be generally available, and what does early access look like?

REAPS is currently in private beta with selected SA agencies. Early access is rolling out in waves; joining the waitlist puts you in the queue. Early-access agencies get hands-on onboarding and direct input into product priorities.
